Hi everyone,
Thank you for suggesting the addition of birthday information. We agree that it's a meaningful marketing detail. Before moving forward, we'd like to gain a better understanding of how you plan to use the birthday information.
EcomSend syncs all subscriber information to Shopify. However, as shown in Image 1, Shopify's customer details section doesn't have a dedicated field for birthday information. This means that if EcomSend wants to add this field, it needs to be added to the Customer Metafield, as illustrated in Image 2. The challenge is that when exporting customer information, Customer Metafields are not included.
Our question is, if EcomSend adds birthday information to the Customer Metafield, how do you plan to utilize it? For example, how would you send marketing messages to customers on their birthdays?

Shana Sides: Thank you for your prompt response. Our concern is how to send marketing messages to customers on their birthdays through an automated workflow, avoiding the manual checking of each customer's metafield section. Can any other email/SMS marketing apps accomplish this?
