Hi everyone, thank you for the suggestion regarding sending codes via email. It's a valuable idea. Currently, EcomSend doesn't have the functionality to send native emails, but we achieve integration with other email/SMS marketing apps, including well-known ones like Shopify Email and Klaviyo, by automatically syncing subscriber information to Shopify Customers.
For sending discount codes after subscription via email, there's an alternative solution available. Please refer to this help document: https://docs.ecomsend.com/get-started/integrate-with-marketing-apps.html

I'm losing money majorly without this feature - just realised people are ordering again and again with a 15% discount code after entering a fake email address on their consecutive orders. As a work around I have set up a discount code in Shopify for 15% (useable only once by each customer) and turned off the discount feature in Ecomsend. I've then set up an email automation in Shopify to welcome new subscribers and put the discount code in the email.
Ideally I'd like all customers to receive a different discount code but I haven't worked out a solution for that yet.
